2025 ITEST ALABAMA

2025 Summer Academy will take place:
  • Date: July 1-July 25, 2025|  Fall Semester
  • Location: Tuskegee University
  • Schedule: TBD

STUDENT APPLICATION

Eligibility :
  • Rising 9-12th graders
  • Attending schools in Alabama Black Belt areas
  • Interested in learning computer science
Requirements: 
  • Participate in 3.5 week-long Summer Academy 
  • Participate in a computer science project with your mentor teacher during the 2025 Fall semester
  • ​Complete all the required activities/ tests/surveys/interviews
Stipend:
  • Upon the completion of the program, you will receive up to a $1,500 stipend

TEACHER APPLICATION

Eligibility :
  • Teachers currently working in schools in Alabama Black Belt areas
  • Interested in teaching computer science​
Requirements: 
  • Participate in 3.5 week-long Summer Academy 
  • Facilitate students' group project
  • ​Complete all the required surveys/ interviews​
Stipend:
  • Upon the completion of the program, you will receive up to a $2,500 stipend
