2023 ITEST ALABAMA

2023 Summer Academy will take place:
  • Date: July 6-July 28, 2023 | 2023 Fall Semester
  • Location: Tuskegee University
  • Schedule: TBD

STUDENT APPLICATION

Eligibility :
  • Rising 10-11th graders
  • Attending schools in Alabama Black Belt areas
  • Interested in learning computer science
Requirements: 
  • Participate in 4 week-long Summer Academy 
  • Participate in a computer science project with your mentor teacher during 2023 Fall semester
  • ​Complete all the required activities/ tests/surveys/interviews
Stipend:
  • Upon the completion of the program, you will receive up to a $1,500 stipend

  • Free

TEACHER APPLICATION

Eligibility :
  • Teachers currently working in schools in Alabama Black Belt areas
  • Interested in teaching computer science
  • Interested in mentoring students' group project during 2023 Fall semester
Requirements: 
  • Participate in 4 week-long Summer Academy 
  • Facilitate students' group project
  • ​Complete all the required surveys/ interviews​
Stipend:
  • Upon the completion of the program, you will receive up to a $2,500 stipend
